Sweetwater Stockdogs specializes in instinct tests and "beginner/started" dogs.

While Fran enjoys training all levels of herding, her passion is introducing new dogs to the excitement of herding.

To maximize the exposure of as many dogs as possible to herding, Fran is now offering a Beginners Group Class.

Sweetwater is a full service trialing and training facility with stock for both started and advanced dogs.

Fran trains both the dog and the owner (handler) to work as a team in preparation for AKC, AHBA and ASCA competitions. However, for people intimidated by the thought of herding, Fran offers professional handling services.

Training at Sweetwater is based on teamwork, consistency and fairness.
